Grand Cayman

“Hey Mon, Welcome to Cayman” – Is the welcome you’ll receive when you visit any of the three Cayman Islands. Known for the famous Stingray City where you can swim with plentiful big stingrays, Grand Cayman is the largest of three islands. It I s also the #1 golf destination in the Caribbean. The island of Grand Cayman mixes arts with culture and has a vibrant, yet laid back atmosphere. On the west side of the island is award-winning Seven Mile Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of sand which is a great place to lay out and soak up the sun. On the North Sound is where you will find the stingrays that are so plentiful, it’s been deemed a city. Many rave about this encounter as an unforgettable experience.

Off the beaches of Grand Cayman, you can lose yourself in the luxury of George Town surrounded by traditional architecture and modern designer shops. The cool thing is you can shop without paying taxes (duty-free) for top designer brands such as Versace, Tiffanys, and Gucci. If you looking for more of the Etsy hand-made goods, you’ll relish the native vendors and craftsmen who are always happy to help you take home a unique souvenir.

Grand Cayman – Turtle Centre

The Cayman Turtle Centre is the perfect place for you to learn about the islands’ history, while having a blast at the same time. This award-winning wildlife park allows you to come face to face with hard-shelled sea turtles, one of the most ancient creatures on earth. Within the centre, there are a variety of interactive activities available – including, predator tanks and swimming or snorkelling in a saltwater lagoon filled with vibrant species of fish and green sea turtles.

Another magnificent stop along the tour is the aviary where birds fly freely, and where guests can feed the beautiful colored birds as they soar around the room. Before you leave, take a stroll down the tranquil nature trail and admire the unique plant species and butterflies, or stop by Smiley’s Saltwater Lagoon and watch the nine-foot crocodile get fed.
